Lower Quarter Clinical Practice Patterns: Painful Squat Case

Here is another great course to review Lower Quarter Clinical Practice Patterns. This was from MMT: The Eclectic Approach to UQ and LQ Assessment and Treatment Nashville, June 2016.

The young PT in this case is a fitness competitor, and for close to a year has been unable to work out regularly due to painful squatting and "SIJ" pain. She meets all of the LQ CPP including

  • SGIS to the involved side
  • loss of passive hip flexion/IR on the involved side
  • loss of passive knee extension on the involved side
  • loss of lateral tibial glide and tibial IR on the involved side
