In the final session of Modern Patient Education Online Mentoring Dr. Rothschild and the mentees go over Exercise, Sleep, Nutrition
  • Strength training principles- ways to avoid people giving up after just a few weeks
  • Instead of hacks, people need to master the basics when it comes to sleep:
  • Sleep schedule, minimizing blue light exposure, understanding impact of caffeine/alcohol, importance of regular exercise
  • Think 80/20 rule when it comes to both sleep and exercise principles
  • Hydration important especially for older adults 
  • Other recovery strategies? Ie foam roller, pneumatic devices, etc
  • Training higher level individuals- what do you base success on?
